Submissions closing soon
Hi there!
A reminder that the submission deadline for issue 25 is next Monday, June 16th.
This issue will have the loose theme ‘Community’.
We accept submissions of visual art & writing from women and non-binary people.
If sending images please make sure they are sent as attachments at 300dpi, in JPEG format & keep in mind that we print at A5 size in colour. Please label each attachment with your name & the image title.
If sending text please note that as space is sometimes limited, long pieces may have to be edited & only an excerpt from the piece may be included. Please send written pieces in Word document format, with a word count of under 1,000 words.
Please send your submission to gemszine@gmail.com with the subject line 'Issue 25 Submission' & include your name, pronouns, title of work, where you are based (city & country - we encourage you to also research and include the Traditional Place Name for your location), the medium & your Instagram handle and/or website (if you would like your social media/website included in our contributor page), and if you would like to be involved in upcoming events & exhibitions.
Submissions close midnight, Monday June 16th.
